Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls fame recently had some work done for her new song “Not Just a Doll” at both Digital Services Recording Studio and Cold Chamber Studios. Additional drum recording was performed by Charles Ray in Studio A and the song was mastered by Mark Kidney in Studio C from 1/2 inch Reel to Reel tape. You may hear the song below.

Rock Bands: $999 for a 3 song demo!

Digital Services Recording Studio is currently offering a special for rock bands which includes 3 songs recorded, mixed, and mastered for only $999. There are no time constraints with this offer which means bands can record stress free and around each members schedules.

We have an in-house 5 piece Yamaha Stage Custom drum set always setup that drummers are welcome to use or they can bring their own set in. We also have a Marshall JVM410H head available to guitar players along with an Ampeg SVT-4 Pro bass head for bass players. Members can provide their own equipment or combine their sound with our equipment at no additional cost.

All recordings will be done in our Studio A Room with our SSL Duality console on Protools 8 HD. Please read the following checklist before booking:

Band must be prepared ahead of time (no writing new parts in the studio)
Drummer must be able to play to a click track
$100 dollar deposit required to secure initial booking date
$400 due on first session, and $499 due after the master is complete.
Once the master is complete, additional changes will be charged at our normal hourly rate

Studio B – Cold Chamber Studios

Studio B is currently occupied by platinum producer Mickaël Zibi of Cold Chamber Studios. Mickaël is very well known in the rap, r&b, and pop industry for his work with such artists as Baby Bash, Paul Wall, and Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls.

Versecity entered the studio on Monday December 21st, 2009 to take advantage of our one song free recording which included a free song recorded mixed and mastered by engineer Charles Ray. The band finished everything except for the vocals so far and will come back in the following Monday to finish recording and start mixing.
